Hi All,
I have read several threads about the subject of saving a file to a server in the internet and everybody seem to agree on a method of creating a text file with command which is then used with an ftp command.
Why does this need to be so complicated? Is there no simple command or funtion within VBA available to save a file to a server on the web?
TIA

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
As far as I know you don't really get any "simple" commands in vba for transferring files to remote servers. There are lots of options but I guess it depends on your network environment, services available, what kind of server you are connecting to, etc. etc. etc.
