Saving CSV to Xlsm; will I lose the formatting?

Hi! IT provided me with a CSV file with data, I saved it as Xlsm. Will the data be saved exactly as it was in CSV?
you know there can be invisible characters after text that can be seen, but the characters are there.

open csv in PQ then you'll see if there are any of mentioned characters
