I recently uploaded Office 2007 with EXCEL 2007. I work at Diebold Inc, and this version was made available. I no longer have the option to save in .dbf format, and this function is very necessary to my job, becasue I do this often in order to use files in QMF (SQL) language for querying purposes. Can someone tell me if there is a work around? According to the help menu in EXCEL 2007 you can now ONLY OPEN .dbf files and CANNOT save in .dbf format.

Thank You, gibsonl@diebold.com

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Welcome to the Board!

Access 2007 still supports .SaveAs DBF. You could write an add-in to
automate opening the Excel in Access, then .saveAs/.Export as dbf.
Or use the free Open Office.

Otherwise there are programs out there you can download to do this also. I don't know of any free ones though.

Hope that helps.
