Good day all,

I usually do not work with charts and have a quick question.

I am working with a very simple X Y scatter chart but the range of cells in my columbs will get larger as I coninue to add data. Is there a way to set the x and Y series to incorperate addition of data in the formula selection of the graph.

For the sake of me understadning please asume the X series of data is in the A columb and the Y series in the B columb.

With my limited knowledge all I was able to do was just something simple like =A:A or just set it to a very high number like =$A$1:$A$10000.

Is there a better way to do this?

Thanks for the help.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Try turning your range into a TABLE and then the graph should expand as you add data.
To make a table highlight the range then on the menu go to INSERT -TABLE.
