I need a script that I can assign to a button that activates the data validation tab - opened at the 'input message' tab. Assumes a cell has been selected prior to button press, so inputted message will relate to that cell.
Also, a companion script to clear the message from the selected cell.
Is it possible to somehow copy text to the input message pane from a cell or the clipboard (and vice versa). Normal cut and paste doesnt work, and the displayed cell message isnt copyable either.
