Scroll bar problem

I inserted a scroll bar from form controls and I positioned it so it would scroll left-to-right. By using the mouse, I could click the left or right arrow on either end and continually run the range up or down as I wanted. With the bar between, I could just slide it to go to either extreme.

I was making some adjustment in the worksheet and when I finished, I couldn’t click on either arrow and get a continuous action through the entire range. I could only click on the arrow one click at a time to move up or down the range. The slide-bar worked as usual, but don’t know why the arrow function changed.

Any help will be appreciated.

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Any chance you assigned a macro to it that would change your focus from the scroll bar?

In trying to figure this out, I did find that if I used Alt with the mouse on either arrow it would run through the range without stopping. This is a satisfactory work around, although I really don't understand why I didn't have to use Alt key before.

Thanks to all, anyway.
