Scrolling on Protected Sheet

When a sheet is unprotected, left scrolling within a row stops at column A. However, when the sheet is protected, left scrolling does not stop. Instead the cursor goes to the rightmost protected cell in the row above.

It is the same for scrolling within columns. The scrolling does not stop but goes to the next column.

Is there a way to stop the scrolling at the last unprotected cell next to the boundaries of the sheet?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Check out the ScrollArea property in the VB helpfile. E.G.

ActiveSheet.ScrollArea = "A1:G20"

Hope that helps,
