I have a fairly large table that I built for a commercial Gardener where he keeps records for all his crops.
I have a Column for Bed Name, where he records which crop was planted in a Bed.
However the crop is the main field and we allow multiple Beds for a given cop.
Example Cabbage got planted in Bed A1,A2 and the Cell would say exatcly that. "A1, A2"
5 months later Beans were planted only in A1

Is there a way eith through filtering the table or create a Pivot report where I can choose Bed A1, and it will show all lines where A1 is used even if it is part of a group as described above.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
This is the closest I could get, using the text filter Contains feature.
Code is
VBA Code:
Sub Macro1()
    ActiveSheet.ListObjects("DiaryTable").Range.AutoFilter Field:=10, Criteria1 _
        :="=*A01*"
End Sub

I created a pivot table/Slice with a list of my beds.
The Filtered Slicer is in a Range I named "Test"
How would I replace the *A01* in the code above with the value of Range("Test")
