Search for specific word, and if true, insert a value from another cell

Hi,

I am trying to search for a specific word, in this case the month of "may" in cell K6 (the cell date shows as 21-may-21). If "May" is found, I then want to return the value of the number in cell E6.

Sorry, I hadn't realised until I had the initial answer that I would be unable to get the range of cells to add together in one cell. It has caused a "spill" with how I have done it. Does it not complicate things by having the formula I'm trying to figure out split over several posts? I can post what I have asked previously into another post if you are able to respond to that? Just seems a little messy (and I use this forum occasionally, so forgive me not knowing the rules).
