Hello everyone,
I am in need of your excel expertise. I have two files. The first is the main file that lists various cases and model item numbers that are itemized by rows. Second, there is a reference file where if model numbers for a given case match those in the main file, I would like to identify them by groups (Column G). So in the end, I would to write a formula to plug into Column C to identify groups for each case should the model numbers match. Model numbers are in no particular order which also makes it a little trickier.
Is this possible? Please see attached.
I'm thinking some sort of array formula or maybe even requiring to tabulate first with a MATCH function? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
