to this problem.

Is there any way to select a range of cells in a spreadsheet based on text? For example, all data between Start and End needs to be selected. I have groups of information that open and close with the same text, but do not share other common characteristic, such as, number of rows, blank spaces, etc. I need to split the groups into different worksheets, but cannot figure out how to select the appropriate ranges.


Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. The code is pretty close. Do you know why it would be starting the range with "end" and closing with "start", instead of vis-versus? Right now the code is selecting the range between my groups instead of the groups themselves.

The shaded areas displayed below are what I want to select. Each begins with "Start" and finishes with "End". I'm planning on splitting each set of data into a new worksheet one at a time. Obviously, I will set a loop starting with the first set of data and running down the spreadsheet, but I'll worry about that later.
