I have a cell which contains a numerical value..the cell is called CurCount. I have another column(AZ) which contains values going down the rows. I need to select rows in the column(AZ) till the count is reached.

in LOTUS THE CODE IS:...
SELECT-DOWN TILL (CURCOUNT-2)

Any suggestions?

THANK YOU ...

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Are you trying to do this in VBA?

If yes, and you are starting at row 1, give this a try:

Range("AZ1:AZ" & "CurCount").Select

Jim:

I get an error using your method.

I replied to navyaa's earlier post with a cruder method, i.e.:

This is one way:

If [CurCount] > 0 Then
Range([AZ1], [AZ1].Offset([CurCount] - 1, 0)).Select
End If

navaa replied that it worked

If you just forget the named range idea and go with the actual cell..... assume the number is in C3 then...

Range("AZ1:AZ" & Range("C3").Value).Select

Thank you very much as both the methods worked....

I am very grateful to both of you:)
