Hello Everyone!

I have two selections in a combo box. Both are numbers. However, when I select either one and it enters that value in the linked cell, it is seen as text instead of a number. Is there a way to fix this so that every time a selection is made it is returned as a number?

What do you mean "linked"? How? via .RowSource or some other method?

Is it causing errors now?

No just by range cells in the properties. But my list has text and numbers so when I don't use a code in the combobox, the numbers don't work in my formulas that I have looking up my linked cell. And when I use a code that converts the combobox values to number then if a text option is selected then that doesn't work in my formula.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Range of cells in what property of the ListBox?
Is this listbox in a userform or an ActiveX box on the worksheet or from the Forms menu?

How does the selected ListItem get back to the workbook.
A Combobox presents a list of options for the user to choose from, but there is no automatic property that will put the user's choice (from a userform) into a cell.
