I would like to create a pivot chart that only has about half of the fields that my pivot table has. But it seems like when I change what shows up on my pivot chart it changes what is in my pivot table as well.

Ultimately what I'm looking for is a pivot chart that shows a subgroup of data that is from my pivot table, in a quick and easy view. But then I want a lot more analysis (some of the less important stuff) in the pivot table. Is this possible? Some posts make it seem like it is possible to separate the chart from the table, but for me they seem invaribly linked.
