In Column A I have cells with FirstName LastName.
I want to separate the names and have FirstName in Col A and LastName in Col B. Please advise. Thanks!!!

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Really depends on the data but have you looked into Data>Text to columns... using space as a delimiter.

if there are no middle names or middle initials (basically if the data is purely consists of FirstName and LastName) then

to pull the first name: =LEFT(A1, FIND(" ", A1)-1)
to pull the last name: =RIGHT(A1, LEN(A1)-FIND(" ", A1))
