Hi all,

I have been trying create a list of numbers based on the values of two columns (J and K).
e.g 10-39 should vertically list all numbers from 10 to 39 from L1 to L39 (10, 11, 12, etc).

I tried using SEQUENCE() but that doesn't seem to be the right approach.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
How about
Excel Formula:
=SEQUENCE(K1-J1+1,,J1)

Hi Fluff,

thanks for your prompt reply- SEQUENCE sort of works. If the range in columns J & K change I get #SPILL.
I forgot to mention that the value in Columns J& K change dynamically.

The formula should only go in the 1st cell, do not copy it down.

Yes, that solved that SPLIT problem but the other sequences on columns J&K are not listed.
J and K have multiple number sequences that change dymacally.

So what exactly do you want?

Well, actually the aim would be to get the sequences below as well 10-42, 5-9, 10-26 (values in J&K change dynamically)

The result should be something like this:

Are all the sets unique? In your example, you have 10 and 42, would that combination exist again in the list?

That's actually my issue- The value change dynamically (column J is always < K ). That's why =SEQUENCE is not an option here

I wasn't going to suggest SEQUENCE, I was going to use COUNTIFS but if the exact combination could repeat again after the first set that might not work either
