Hi there,

I am programming a project portfolio spreadsheet for resource management and my boss wants to programme in start dates for projects.

This means that the resource usage data for that project will start at the corresponding time in the spread sheet.

For example we use quarters, Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. I would like to be able to set a project to show its data fron Q3 onward.

Is there any possible way of doing that??

Thanks
sarah

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Hello and welcome to The Board.
It depends on how the data is organised. If done correctly then it should be possible - perhaps a pivot table will give you what you want.
If you can give more detail about how the data is set out and the version of Excel that is being used, someone may be able to give you some ideas.
