Good day!

[>999999] #,,"M";#,"K"

Format Cells > Number > Custom

Above is the line that I am using for custom format. For example, with the cell value 1234567, when the format applied, it will show 1M.

I want add a prefix dollar sign to it ($), and let it display 1 digit after decimal.

By trying differently, like $ [>999999] #.0,,"M";#,"K" etc, I still don't get it working.

What's the correct way to set it? Thank you.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
It would be:

[>999999]$ #.0,,"M";$#.0,"K"

I assumed you wanted a decimal place for the K option too?
