Hi,

I'm going to do a simple training at my work on Power Pivot. I want to pull in a couple of datasets to use as examples and cut them a bit with Power Query.

Once I've done that, can I remove t Power Queries so that the data is just sat in Power Pivot? Basically the equivalent of Break Links in regular Excel.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.

You don't need to sever the link. Power query will load a copy of the data to power pivot. Power pivot will work without the source data forever. But when you try to hit refresh, you must have access to the data.
