Shape change

Hello,

I have a macro that takes several minutes to complete and I would like to add a button indicator in the spreadsheet that turns to red when the macro is running and turns to green when complete. I use the code below, but the color does not change, it seems the macro is too fast to process the first line. Is there a way to allow the button to turn red in the first line. Try something like this:

ActiveSheet.Shapes.Range(Array("Oval 2")).Fill.ForeColor.RGB = RGB(0, 255, 0)
 ActiveSheet.Shapes.Range(Array("Oval 1")).Fill.ForeColor.RGB = RGB(255, 0, 0)
