I need to share a formula from a table with table references to people who have copies of the same workbook and tables. When I was creating the formula I had no problems copying and pasting between Notepad and the table cells. When I try to paste the formula from notepad to a different copy of the development workbook I get this error:

When I click OK it Highlights the first cell reference in the formula which is correctly given as [@[Open Price}. How can I distribute these formulas?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
I just did and had no problem. Now what I noticed about what you have pasted vs what I have pasted. 1 is a typo. But I also notice where that typo is located, my formula has 2 ] there. Does yours only have one when you copy it?

My sheet produces 4 brackets. It may have something to do with the way that I select them

I must have been doing something wrong else wrong because it resolved itself.
