Shared files keep dissapering

Hello all,
I've came across very weird problem at work.
We use several shared files among at least 5 people, always worked as a charm.
Lately they started to dissapear. An error how file couldn't be found, if its moved, renamed or deleted pops up
All of the files we work with are stored on a server, so they are restored to the latest version, which sometimes makes us lose some newly entered data.
No idea why they dissapear, starting to suspect my PC somehow, maybe Windows version or Excel version?
Maybe any macro can do that?
Google didn't help much, does anyone have any idea what is happening and how to fix it?
