I'm seeing some strange results with the shared workbook feature in Excel 2007. We have several coworkers that update a weekly report (worksheet), and to avoid the aggrevation of having to wait until someone was out of the spreadsheet I enabled the Shared feature.
Issues:
1) Will not allow you to copy over tabs when in Shared mode.
2) We noticed that my updates I made were not represented in the view of a coworker. She could see her updates, and I could see mine, but we could not see each other's updates. I clicked "Save my changes and see others' changes"
3) What risks are there when you switch between Shared and not shared. Willl I potentially lose anything in the process?
Does anyone out there have any tips? I'm concerned that this might be an issue. I have read where many users don't trust shared workbook functionality.
