Hi All:

If I were to show samples of my Excel based dashboards to potential employers, what would be the best way to show it to them without worrying that they would/could steal it?

This would be pre-interview, so I can't show them on my laptop.

I know I can password protect the sheets, but I also know there are software apps that will crack those passwords.

Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
I guess a video showing the dashboards in action would be the safest way.

To be honest there aren't that many secrets when it comes to Excel these days. Would it not be your future work that they would be paying you for rather than something you've already done? If it's good enough it should work out cheaper to employ you than have someone figure it out who already works there.
