Silent Treatment - how to hide excel query results

Hi there -

Again, great forum.

I am retrieving Access data to a spot on my worksheet, and I want to hide the activity from the user.

For example: when the query executes, it repositions the cursor to the H4 cell location (which is off the primary menu) and then it executes the query, and the data is returned.

I would like to have this action hidden from the user, and done kinda in the background

I appreciate your help

Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop

Have you tried using...

Application.screenupdating = False
'Your code here
Application.screenupdating = True

That should at least stop the user seeing the action on screen.
