How do you write a simple "IF A = B Then" to place in an Excel code?

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
An example would be
Code:
If range("A1").value= Range("B1").value then
or if you were doing IF /Then over a lot of rows you could use
Code:
dim r as long
for r = 1 to 100 ' sample no of rows
If range("A" & r).value= Range("B" & r).value then
next r

The VBA built-in Help has more information about various syntax forms for If...Then as well as examples. Might be worth taking a look at that.
