Hi.
I have written a fairly simple macro that formats some data, then creates a pivot table.
My problem is that the Slicer function is not enabled.
I have gone thru every post I can find on the issue and it's not the old compatibility mode issue - I am using 2010 & it is creating an xlsm file.
If I copy/paste the formatted dataset into a new workbook & create a new pivot table, setting it up manually, the slicer function works - albeit that the format for the pivot table comes out differently. I have tried to use VBA to create a new workbook and copy/paste the pivot table in - the slicer still wont enable.
What (obvious) thing am I missing?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Pierre
