Afternoon folks,

I have inherited a workbook from another user. In the Column Headers (a,b,c,d etc) there are two little buttons. A 1 and a 2. They dont seem to do much, but I dont know what they are or how to delete them. And they are irritating. ANy suggestions?

I had a look and there are no Macros and no VBA hiding away. SO I am lost. Two tiny grey buttons

Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Sounds like outline buttons to expand and collapse grouped columns. You can clear those using the Ungroup button in the Outline section on the right of the Data tab in the ribbon.
