Smart Transposer Needed

Hello,

I have a spreadsheet that contains a number of rows: some with a column heading of unique ID# and some rows with duplicate ID#'s. For those rows that contain the duplicate ID #'s, I need to be able to transpose a number of columns data to row data (within a group/ subtotal/ data sort of rows that contain the same ID#). In a perfect world, the transposed data would be appended to the first row of data so I could remove the rows where the column data no longer exists.

Once the transposed data has been appended, my spreadsheet would contain number of rows, each with a unique ID# which would contain multiple columns of data.
Would you have any ideas how this can be done?
Thanks
