Social Security Numbers starting with Zero's

I'm having an issue setting the format for cells that have Social Security Numbers (with no dashes) that start with zero's. If I set the format to SSN's it works fine but adds the dashes, e.g "012-34-5678". There are times however that I need the number to look like "012345678" with no dashes. Does anyone know how I need to format the cell to allow that entry without it cutting off the beginning zero's
