With regard to the below formula, i now understand that the $ is absolute and the words in '...' are sheets in the same book. what does the "y" mean? does that mean "input a y in this cell, if the SUM us true"?
=SUMIF('Project Resource Plan'!$B$3:$B$137,"y",'Project Resource Plan'!AW3:AW138)
What exactly is the difference between SUM and SUMIF ?
