Sort and filter function

i have the below formula for some reason the second filter is not working (D3:D56777=V1) can someone explain why

=SORT(FILTER(B3:B56777,(C3:C56777=U1)*ISNUMBER(SEARCH(T1,B3:B56777)),SORT(FILTER(B3:B56777,(D3:D56777=V1)*ISNUMBER(SEARCH(T1,B3:B56777)),SORT(FILTER(B3:B56777,ISNUMBER(SEARCH(T1,B3:B56777)),"No Match Found"),)),)))

Can you post some sample data. It makes it a lot easier to debug a formula that doesn't work.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

We have no idea what your data is like, or what you are trying to do. All we have to go in is a formula that doesn't work.

So the goal of the formula is to see the customer name by different data validation drop downs, either by division for that salesperson or all customers for this division or all customers for a particular salesperson etc...

Yes correct those cells have my data validations based on the unique formula
