this code is to be placed in "ThisWorkbook"

Code:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    Cells.Sort Key1:=Range("Q1"), Order1:=xlDescending, Header:=xlYes, _
        OrderCustom:=1, MatchCase:=False, Orientation:=xlTopToBottom, _
        DataOption1:=xlSortNormal
End Sub

I have applied the code but there is issue:

1) Upon opening the spreadsheet, it prompt me to enable the MACROS which i did and my data jumped to ROW 493 and building on to next rows. Why it did not stay on Row 2 and building to 3,4,5...?

can anyone help me with the formula above?

I have two issues with the formula above:

1) My Data is sorting by "Due Date" column Descending to Ascending but I would like the data to sort Ascending to Descending order.
2) The spreadsheet is sorting by "Due Date" blank fields but I want Sort it by Due Date Ascending order.

Any help is appreciated.
