Hi there
I have 2 nice colourful tables in Excel 07.
I have one which is formatting using the inbuilt format as table feature which provides lots of nice colourful bands and I manually colured in rows on my other table.
Both look great until..
I sort the tables by their right most total rows.

Example: Table goes from A1:F12 - row 1 is header data.
Rows 2-12 have 3 different colours used to make table look nice.
I run a sort on COlumn F, the totals and data sorts as I would
wish but the colourful bands sort too - so my prety looking table
ends up a bit of a colourful mess - anyway to do a sort and not
have the colours go with the data?

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Thanks this was very useful - took a bit of trial and error but I seem to have it working - this reference was the key!
