I need help. I need a formula that will make these numbers into 8 digits. All the numbers I have are either 5, 6, or 7 digits currently.

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 172pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=229><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 172pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 8374" width=229><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; WIDTH: 172pt; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl63 height=20 width=229>1670272</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl63 height=20>1605717</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl63 height=20>83682</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Thank you for your help!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Try

=TEXT(A1,"00000000")

However, the result is no longer actually a number, it's a text string.

If it's just for appearance, you could format the cells as 00000000, otherwise use the previous suggested formula.

Select the range
Go to Format Cells (ctrl+1)
On the Number tab choose 'Custom'
Give it custom format of 00000000
