still need answers

I posted Yesterday and had some sucess. This morning my user name and password was missing. so I resigned and need to post the same question. I am trying to fill a data table with real time data brought in to the sheet with ole I want it to capture the number every 15 minutes. The answer I recieved did capture the info and log it but the event that caused it was changing cell location of the cursor. I have never used visual Basic before but can kind of understand what is hapening. Is there an event I can creat and have it show up in the drop down that would happen every 15 minutes?
