stop excel files to using VLOOKUP links from my master file

I have created a new file and extract data using vlookup to a master sheet and emailed to 2 users. Now even after deleting master file those user are able to lookup values. How can i stop them to do so.
 

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
