Storm.ExcelMacros Suspicious unknown excel Add-in found
Last week running a macro that normally takes 1 min, excel became trapped in a loop “round blue circle still showing in the screen and performance monitor shows processors still working even when I knew the macro was done”.
Troubleshooting the issue I found under File>options> Add-ins> Manage: a new add-in named Storm.ExcelMacros. I unselect this add-in and everything is fine. Now, These are my questions?
1) Does anyone know what is the Storm.ExcelMacros add in?
2) How is it possible that this add-in was installed or pushed into my machine?
3) Assuming it is possible that the add-in auto load by itself. What are my options to disable these unknown add-ins to enter into my machine again?
4) There are plenty of options under the File>Options>Trust Center. What kind of settings will create an even more robust security excel environment. Files are pwd protected, spreadsheets are pwd protected and vb code is pwd protected.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I use windows 7 enterprise and XL 2010 32 bit.

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.

False alarm. Michael, thank you for your help, but I don't have any virus or there is a problem with the add-in. It is a legitimate and perfectly working add-in from a mayor vendor.
Moderator could you please delete this post. I already troubleshoot the issue and Storm.ExcelMacros is a legitimate add-in that we use for analysis.
