I have received some data in excel which has couple of column specially Date and Amount which are strikethrough, I am trying to remove from Format Cell / Fonts / strikethrough (unchecked) but it strikethrough is not removing.

Please advice on above query.

Thank you.

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
you can easily test if it's due to conditional formatting:
- select one or more of the cells with the problem
- press CTRL+C
- rightclick an empty cell somewhere and choose PasteSpecial
- select Values in the PasteSpecial dialog

is the strikethrough still applied to the copied cells now?

EDIT: I just realised this would remove the strikethrough also when it is applied directly on the font, not just for conditional formatting

even with PasteSpecial/Values you still have it as strikethrough??
That is just weird...

Are you sure someone has not been messing around with your fonts, as a prank?
