Hello. I am trying to write a formula, but I cant get it to work. I am trying to get it to say "Week of 5/24 - 5/30" in a cell, when another cell have the date 5/27. I have given a example.

5/27/2015Week of 5/24 - 5/30

<tbody>
</tbody>

I am trying to do the CONCATENATE function and the function of =A3-WEEKDAY(A3)+7 for the first of the week and =A3-WEEKDAY(A3)+1 for the last of day of the week. Thanks for your help

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

Hello,
Assuming the date you want (5/27/2015) is in cell A1, week starts on Sunday, and you don't want 05/24, the following formula should work:

="Week of "&TEXT($A$1-WEEKDAY($A$1)+1,"m/d")&" - "&TEXT($A$1-WEEKDAY($A$1)+7,"m/d")
