Hi folks,

I have a stockesheet set up with subtotals, conditional formats all very nice. However if I want to Insert-row to add another order The subtotal is not updated...any ideas? I've looked on the web but no joy :(

Many thanks,

Danny

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
It possible that my english isn't so good, but if I understand, you can recorder a macro in which:
1 remove subtotals
2 sort column if necessary
3 apply subtotals
you not need write a line of vba code.

It's correct?

Ciao

Thanks sgremmo

Thanks sgremmo,

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply (your English is excellent by the way). Just to let you know that I have found another way without using subtotals.

Best wishes,

Danny

djurmann,

I am curious as to which other way you use to subtotal your data, as I have the same problem and also I hate manually typing in the subtotal function everytime I need to use it/ or go to the function commands

Thanks
