Sum cells if criteria matches

Hello,
I have three rows (column B, C and D). D consists of numbers, while b and C of text. I want to sum all cells i D where on the same row b = "HELLO" and C = "BYE", for example if D3=5, B3=HELLO, C3=BYE and D8=5, B8=HELLO, C8=BYE then the sum would be 10.

Any advice?

Use the SUMIFS function, i.e.

=SUMIFS(D:D,B:B,"HELLO",C:C,"BYE")
