I have a column of data in Excel that is HH:MM:SS format, for example, 0:30:42 (thirty minutes forty-two seconds), When using the formula =SUM(b2:b3), I get zero value. If I do B2+B3 I get a result.

Is there another formula/function to add time values?

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
I think this might help.

Also, check out this info from Microsoft.

And this is a deep summary of number formatting. This one lets you practice.
