Hi,

I need help, I am using this formula =SUMPRODUCT(--(R6:R29>=D39), --(R6:R29<=D40), --(B6:B29=B41)) which counts my dates only in one column, but I need to expand to provide the result for more than 3 columns.
As you can see this formula is only for column R, how do I include mroeo column such R,S,T... Z?

thanks.

see picture below:
From the picture I cannot see your formula nor copy your data to test. What about using the suggestion in my signature block below to give that sample data in a form I can copy to test with?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Actually before you even do that: I assume you are referring to the result in cell P13? The result of 2 looks correct to me as there are only 2 rows for Ford with dates in August.
In fact, all those results look correct to me.

It only counts values for one column vertical only, If I add more than one row, it doesn't count the total (see example below)

Any help, please...

See this picture with formula.

FORD / August and September - it counts only 3 but the total result is 9 (see the color code)

BMW - / August and September - it counts only 4 but the total result 12 (see the color code)

Give me an example of a wrong answer in that image and explain exactly why it is wrong, what the right answer should be and why.

Please see request above... all inputs in red color are not being captured

Then I think you had better go right back to post 3 and explain why you gave the result for Ford for August as 3. All of my suggestions have been based on that information but now it seems you are indicating that answer should have been 4 ??? :(

Hi Peter,

That's correct the August for Ford was 3 and for BMW is 4 in one column only.

But when I add dates on all columns, as I stated:

FORD / August and September - it counts only 3 but the total result is 9 (see the color code)
BMW - / August and September - it counts only 4 but the total result 12 (see the color code)
...the same picture attached...

Any idea, please?
