I am looking for a formula that would sum the cells in column A and return the date in column B where it reaches at least 3,000. I have not been able to find anything like this. I tried using SUMIF with VLOOKUP, but haven't been able to find the right combination. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
You could try:

=INDEX(B2:B10,MATCH(TRUE,MMULT(--(ROW(A2:A10)>=TRANSPOSE(ROW(A2:A10))),A2:A10+0)>=3000,0))
