SUMIF (Maybe?)

In AA3, I want it to sum up C3:Z3 if any of those cells have the following values:

If it it has a 1 in the cell, count as .5
If it has a 2 in the cell, count as 4 etc. as seen below

1 = .5
2 = 4
3 = 1
4 = 1
5 = 4
6 = .5
7 = -.5 (negative .5)

Try:

=SUM(COUNTIF(C3:Z3,{1,2,3,4,5,6,7})*{0.5,4,1,1,4,0.5,-0.5})

Looks like I missed the negative .5 working correctly. So, it is adding .5 although the formula is clearing showing -.5 I need it to subtract .5 Thoughts?
