I am adding C1 AND E1 (=SUM(C1+E1) but C & E data is driven by what is in A and D. If either A or D is blank my =sum errors with #Value. What would add these 2 cells and if 1 or both are blank just carry over the amount in the 1 cell or 0 if both are blank?

Thank you,
James

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
How about
=SUM(C1,E1)
