Hi,
I have a file where i need to sum up the cost and accumulated depreciation of product codes that exists in different entities (the same product can exists in more than one entity) and the data are spread over 2 tabs:
The below is an example of my summary tab, as mentioned the product codes can exists in multiple entities and the cost amount and accum. depreciation balance needs to be summed together from the other 2 tabs (CAD & USD & others) and the formula needs to be dynamic since the user can select different year or months as desired.
In the other 2 tabs where the data is gathered, the date and year are in columns A & B and the unique identifier used for the sumif or sumifs is located in row 3.
I am not sure how to use INDIRECT and reference the other 2 tabs in the sumif formula.
Also I do not understand how INDIRECT can sum up the totals of the costs and accumulated deprec. over multiple columns?
Thank you
Kam
