SumProduct Question

when we use * in SumProduct
and
when we use , in sumproduct
i see this formula
=SUMPRODUCT(ISNUMBER(C2:C9)*(B2:B9))
and it is give me right answer
but when i change
=SUMPRODUCT(ISNUMBER(C2:C9),(B2:B9))
it is give me zero

But you live in the Netherlands ? On your avataar it is "The Hague" which is in Netherlands so I thought you would be Dutch

I had been to Turkey when I was very small (as in a little boy) around 2 decades back and my Dad used to tell me that it is a great historical place with lots of good peace loving people ! Since then I never had a chance to visit Turkey.

Nevertheless, you need a lot of money to visit Turkey or proper Europe and now I have realized that I should not be spending my Dad's money any more, so saving my money everyday so that I can visit my cousins and my friends who live in USA

when we use * for array we use one argument
but when we use "," we use argumant number equal to array number
i think that is what make using "," more useful than *

The usefullness lies in the fact that...

(a) The comma syntax is SumProduct's native syntax;
(b) The comma syntax allows the function to ignore text values (like the Sum function would) in the range to sum;
(c) The comma syntax yields a tad faster multiplication.
