I know each array used in sumproduct are to have the same dimension. However, I want to use a row and column array. Is there a work around?

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

Can you give details about what you are trying to do exactly?

Sorry about the duplicate. I want to multiply and sum (as example) a2:a7 and b3:g3.

That might work with a SUM. I'll try it. Thanks

Hi cnestg8r

I want to multiply and sum (as example) a2:a7 and b3:g3.

Not clear what you want.

Can you post the result as a simple expression, like:

=a2*b3+a3*c3+a4*d3 ...

In this case, for ex.:

=SUM(A2:A7*TRANSPOSE(B3:G3))
Confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER

Thanks to all. The MMULT solution worked, but so does pcg01's approach. I appreciate adding both of them top my arsenal.
